Unparalleled Coffee Experience
My coffee journey began as a child, sneaking sips of the bold espresso made by my Italian grandmother. Then coffee kept making its way into my career path no matter which way I turned. In the 1980s and 90s I owned several small coffee shops, before Starbucks and Dunkin changed the meaning of coffee shop. These were little café restaurants that served breakfast, pastries and of course great coffee.
This led to a marketing career working for a small local gourmet coffee roaster that hired me to create a website. Then as their sales director we grew to have our specialty coffee sold in over 4000 grocery stores. Finally, I entered the church and nonprofit world, where I experienced two extremes. While overseeing the church coffee bar, the pastor demanded great coffee for our worshipers. But then, as director of an organization taking care of the poor and homeless, I used my connections to get mis-roasted and damaged specialty coffee donated. It meant a lot to our homless neighbors to wake up to a good cup of coffee.
Back To The Future
Every day of my brief semi retirement starts with 3 cups of quality coffee as I work to open a tiny home village for low income seniors and veterans. When I can afford it, I enjoy a wonderful pour over craft coffee from a barista located in our business complex. To supplement my income as I work on this start up nonprofit, I build low cost websites. But I have always dreamed of creating my own coffee website and blog. Now this dream is a reality! With years of experience in the specialty coffee industry, I want to share my passion and expertise to bring you the most current and reliable coffee information available. From sourcing beans farmed in renowned coffee growing regions and plantations, to sharing meticulous roasting and brewing techniques. I want to help ensure that every cup of coffee you enjoy is a testament to your passion for quality and excellence.
